The mission of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts is to empower people and the organization to significantly raise standards and increase performance capability and adaptability. A priority is to achieve the best educational experience for the students, faculty, staff, and community of the Sweetwater Union High School District. The programs increase service to students, by enabling faculty with knowledge, enthusiasm, and energy. The Director and his staff build trust and teamwork among arts educators and other faculty.
