Expected Districtwide Learning Results Graduates of Sweetwater district schools will acquire:
Academic Preparation Foundation Skills, including effective listening, speaking, reading and writing for clear, creative, and coherent communication fundamental historical and geographical knowledge and perspective basic mathematical, scientific, and world language capabilities
Thinking Foundation Skills, including creative and critical higher-order thinking leading to capable decision making and problem solving (organize, interpret, evaluate, analyze, synthesize information and ideas, and apply knowledge. experience in and appreciation of the artistic and creative arts
Personal Qualities and Skills, including responsible citiezenship with respect for self, personal and cultural differences, and the environment contribution to the family, and to local and global communities participation in our democratic society and motivation, accountability, responsibility and self-discipline honest and ethical decision making ability to work productively with others healthy individuals who function at a high degree of mental, physical and social wellness
Workplace Competencies, including technological literacy with competence to access and communicate information in a variety of media self-directed, life-long learners who can grow and change to meet their needs as they pursue academic and career goals, now and in the future.
