Committee Chair - Rudy Gonzalez
Mr. Gonzalez was a graduate of Castle Park High School, has a
Master of Public Administration degree from San Diego State
University and worked for the city of San Diego for 17 years.
Committee Co-Chair - Mr. Andy Berg
Mr. Berg is the appointed member from the San Diego Taxpayers
Association. Mr. Berg is the Director of Local Government Relations
and Economic Development for the National Electrical Contractors
Association.
At Large - Nick Marinovich
Mr. Marinovich, recently appointed by the board in August 2004,
is a Project Manager for the County of San Diego, Department
of General Services, and a resident of Chula Vista.
National City - Gary Smith
Dr. Smith, recently appointed by the board in August 2004 is
an Assistant Professor at Chapman University in San Diego, a
resident of National City and a former Superintendent for the
National School District.
Chula Vista - Sergio Feria
Mr. Feria is a civil litigation attorney with two students in
the Sweetwater District. He has lived in South Bay since 1984
and coaches baseball at Eastlake High.
Dan Malcolm (Imperial Beach)
Mr. Malcolm is currently the Senior Vice President/Legal Counsel
for Coldwell Banker Commercial Retail Properties Group. He is
a past Imperial Beach Councilmember. Currently he serves as
a board member for Sharp Coronado Hospital. He lives in Imperial
Beach and has two students in the Sweetwater District.
Ben Martinez (At Large)
Mr. Martinez a resident of Chula Vista, currently the Project
Manager for the National City Community Development Commission.
He was formerly the Community Development Specialist for City
of Chula Vista.
Development Community - William T. Ostrem
Mr. Ostrem is president of the EastLake Development Company.
He has lived in San Diego County for nearly 12 years.
Association of General Contractors - Bradford Barnum
Mr. Barnum is a graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara and
has been in the San Diego area for the past 7 years. In his position with
the Associated General Contractors he represents the over 1,200 member
builders in the area.
