Sweetwater to Host Electronics Recycling Event - 2/28/12

Event to be held at District Offices

This Saturday, March 3, 2012, the Sweetwater Union High School District will host an electronics recycling event at the district offices. The event will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The event will be done in collaboration with Recycle San Diego and will accept several electronic items, including monitors, plasma and LCD screen TV's, laptops, printers, copiers, faxes, scanners, cell phones, telephones, VCR's, DVD players and automotive batteries.

Items that will not be accepted are appliances, lamp bulbs, alkaline batteries and other hazardous waste materials.

The Sweetwater Union High School District is located at 1130 Fifth Avenue in Chula Vista, between Oxford and Naples Streets.
