New Procedures
- Use only black or blue ink - do not use red ink or pencil et al because
the optical character reader does not read these colors and the mail piece is
returned to the sender. (Example: red ink pen, red paper or envelope, pencil or green ink).
- Do not place attention lines on the bottom of the address.
The last line should be City, State, and Zip only.
- First Class mail, must be sealed, do not tuck the flap into the envelope.
- Do not use envlopes with a printed indicia in the corner unless it is a part of
a pre approved mass mailing.
- IT IS BEST TO CONTACT MAIL SERVICES BEFORE YOU PREPARE A LARGE MAILING

On ALL bulk mailings allow 3-9 days (Sat & Sun do not count)

- 200 pieces or more (exactly the same size and weight)
- No personalized mail (such as test results, grades, etc.)
- Sorted by zip code (must have 5 digit zip)
NON-PROFIT (BULK) MAIL
- 200 pieces or more (exactly the same size and weight)
- No personalized mail (such as test results, grades, etc.)
- Sorted by zip code (must have 5 digit zip)
- No advertising (Example: Student insurance, Class photos, rings, etc.)

- 500 pieces or more (exactly the same size and weight)
- Sorted by zip code (must have 5 digit zip)

AUTOMATED MAILINGS
The DUPLICATING DEPARTMENT
has a program (Envelope Manager) that updates, sorts, and barcodes all classes of
mail when minimum standards are met. This can save you even more time and money!
