Our graphics technician is available to assist you in creating great looking, professional designs for any kind of printed materials:
Good design is good communication. To achieve this, our designer will work with you to learn about the image you wish to convey - and develop an overall design concept suited to that end.
To bring your concept to life, our graphics technician thoughtfully selects the appropriate design elements...
The result will be a great looking, high impact document that effectively gets your message across. Catch your audience's attention with something unique. Our designer will create custom illustrations for your project or suggest choices from our extensive graphics library. We save all design projects in our computer archive. Your completed project is safe and ready for easy access if you want to reprint or modify it in the future.
Word, WordPerfect, Excel, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Illustrator, FreeHand, QuarkXPress and InDesign. We will also except files in PDF form.
You may put your files on floppy, ZIP, or CD and deliver to the Duplicating Dept. You may also email your files to: George.MooreJr@sweetwaterschools.org

Get that picture off of the page and into your design. A scanner converts printed material into files that can be used on the computer.
Our scanner can convert images-photos, drawings, diagrams, logos...any printed "picture" into a graphic format, then place the image into a design layout. We can even convert full-color photographs into high resolution computer images for use in your Black & White document.
When developing a design project, our designer can scan the printed images you want to include, then use our graphic and layout software to manipulate the image and incorporate it into your design. Using our graphic software, we can even alter your image. We can retouch, move, remove or replace parts of the image.
The scanner can also convert pages of text into word processor format. We can scan your text pages and use our ORC (Optical Character Recognition) software to creat a word processing file. You can then use the text in your word processor or in other programs that acept word processor format.
Prepress is the last step in the overall design process for projects that will be printed on the offset (ink) press. We use these services to create camera-ready originals of your designs.
We use this printer to produce high-quality originals - 1200 dpi resolution - from the computer files containing your design. Ink jet or 300 dpi printers do not produce very good results or the halftones needed for photographic images.
We can use paste-up methods to manually modify an existing original of your design. Paste-up involves physically cutting out old parts of your original and pasting in new elements, such as text.
