Chula Vista Adult School offers individualized GED preparation classes. These classes offer one on one instruction in all the subjects covered by the GED examination. Since 3 out of the 5 tests are based on reading comprehension, you must be able to read and comprehend at a high level.
The class offers practice tests that are written by the same people who write the actual GED and from those practice tests, teachers can determine what areas you may need to brush up on to successfully pass the GED. It is recommended that you enroll and take these classes if you want to finish as quickly as possible.
Some students attempt to take the full battery of tests without taking a class and many of them end up failing math and the writing exams. This wastes money and time and they end up enrolling in the classes anyway. The math includes algebra and geometry and the writing includes grammar and an essay. Our GED teachers have much experience and more people get their GED at Chula Vista Adult School than any other school in the county.
